Uptime & cost

Catch the small problems before they park your trucks.

A worn tyre flagged on this morning’s walkaround is a €60 fix today — or a roadside callout, a failed CVRT and a delayed job next month. Traxsit turns failed check items into tracked fault tickets automatically, so nothing reported ever gets forgotten.

  • Faults go straight from the driver’s phone to the live fault board — then to a work order
  • Walkaround checks become service triggers on the maintenance board
  • Full cost and work history per vehicle and machine
  • Downtime you can see, measure and reduce

Installation

We don’t just sell you hardware — we implement it.

Every Traxsit system is installed by our own fully insured engineers, anywhere in Ireland — trucks, vans, excavators, fridges and trailers. Installed properly, tested before we leave, supported by the same people afterwards.

Fitted by our own engineers

No third-party fitters and no couriered boxes. The people who install your kit are Traxsit’s own engineers.

Nationwide, on your schedule

We install anywhere in Ireland and work around your operation — depot by depot, vehicle by vehicle, with no downtime you can’t afford.

Tested before we leave

Every device is checked on site and confirmed live in your account before we drive away — and the same Cork-based team supports you afterwards.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you install the hardware? +

Yes — our own engineers install every tracker, tacho download unit and temperature sensor, nationwide. No couriered boxes and no third-party fitters: the same Cork-based team that fits your kit also supports you afterwards. Every installation is fully insured.

How does automatic tachograph download work? +

A small device in the vehicle downloads the vehicle unit and driver card data remotely on a schedule and uploads it securely to your Traxsit account — no download keys and no walking the yard. RSA guidance says driver cards must be downloaded every 21 days and vehicle units every 3 months, and Traxsit keeps the files for at least 12 months, so those deadlines take care of themselves.

How long does a walkaround check take? +

Under a minute. The driver opens the app from their home screen, marks each item pass or fail, photographs any fault, signs on screen and submits — with big touch targets built for gloves-on yard use. Every check is stored with its photos and signature, and a morning push reminder means it happens before the wheels turn.

What happens when a check item fails? +

It becomes a tracked fault ticket automatically — photo, vehicle and time attached — on the live fault board with a status workflow from reported to fixed. The driver gets a notification when it is updated, the full trail is kept for at least 2 years in line with S.I. 348/2013, and it is all in the one-click audit pack when the RSA calls.

We’re already with another tracking provider — is switching painful? +

No. We handle the changeover, install nationwide on your schedule, and most fleets are fully live within 3–4 weeks. Our team plans the move depot by depot so your operation keeps running while we work.
